Dance Pavilion at Natatorium ParkDances held by civic groups and clubs provided popular entertainment in Spokane. This large crowd filled the Natatorium Park dance pavilion to dance to Phil Harris' Big Band. Phil Harris was the musical director for Jack Benny's radio programs. Crowds of several thousand were common when the park attracted popular big band names, and the music was often broadcast on live radio. |
